הקבלה היא הפנימיות של התורה — דרך לימוד העוסקת באופן שבו רצון ה’ ואורו מתגלים בבריאה.

הקבלה אינה עוסקת במהות ה’, שאינה ניתנת להשגה, אלא באופני הגילוי וההנהגה.

כך מדגישים חכמי ישראל:

• הרמב״ן (שמות ל״ג) — מהות ה’ נסתרת, והנביאים משיגים רק את הופעת כבודו.
• הזוהר — עוסק באור האלוקי כפי שהוא מתגלה, לא בהגדרה של עצמות.
• הרמח״ל — מציג מערכת מסודרת של הנהגת ה’.

Kabbalah is the inner dimension of Torah, concerned with how God’s will and presence are revealed within creation.

Kabbalah does not address God’s essence, which is beyond comprehension, but rather modes of revelation and governance.

This approach is emphasized by:

• Ramban (Exodus 33) — God’s essence is unknowable; only His manifestations are perceived.
• The Zohar — focuses on divine light as revealed, not defined.
• Ramchal — presents an ordered system of divine governance.

Ein Sof — The Infinite

כל לימוד קבלי מתחיל רק מנקודת הגילוי, לא מן העצמות.

Ein Sof refers to God’s infinite reality, beyond all description or form.

All Kabbalistic discussion begins only with revelation, not essence.

Tzimtzum — Concealment

לפי הקבלה הלוריאנית, האור האלוקי מתגלה דרך הסתרה ומידה, ולא דרך היעדר מוחלט.

According to Lurianic Kabbalah, divine revelation occurs through measured concealment, not total withdrawal.

This allows creation to exist.

Kav and Reshimu

After concealment, a trace (reshimu) remains, and a line of light (kav) introduces structured revelation.
